How our script meets the conventions
How our script meets the conventions
As you can see wea are using a peer to peer mode of address in this section of script, which is fitting with the conventions of a chatty breakfast radio show simialr to BBC w breakfast show that i looked into for my LO1.
To conform with the conventions of a local rado show we have included local news in our news segments to best appeal to the target audience.
These examples aswell as many others is why if feel our script has met the codes and conventions.
Outline strengths
The radio show has strong dialogue as it is very back and fort to keep the audience engaged. Our content is tailored towards our demographic of 16-24 year olds and uni students as we use current indie music, whoch are from local bands. This script also meets the goals which was set out of by the breif as it is an appropriate local radio show.
Outline weaknesses
The only weakneses of the script is that when some of the dialogie was split up beetween the presenters, we ntices that there were some continuity in the dialogue particualry hen reading our stories and letters that were sent in.
Changes/amends
We made small changes and adjustments to our script after we received client feedback from our client. one of the man issues were that in the early drafts of our script we needed to break up more of the dialogue between the presenters, but we amended this by splitting up the larger lines and distributing them between the presenters.
